Have you used any of those patterns? And did you use the fabrics they recommended, or did you "wing it"?
Not very often. I used a pattern for a "Newton All Year" quilt, but I've found that most manufacturer's patterns are not very asthetically pleasing, and sometimes look like all they are are blocks and a fat border of the whole fabric line. But sometimes manufacturers have patterns you have to buy that are much more interesting.
