Best Press is by Mary Ellen's and they call it the clear starch alternative. You spray it on the fabric and it helps remove wrinkles, helps make ironing smoother, doesn't leave flakes. I get it at my LQS or JoAnn's.
Yes, I googled it. I see that it would be better then starch since there is no flaking. Thanks for explaining what it is.
