:-D :-D :-D It really isn't that hard to do. I may one day do the one you have. what I did was maybe do 8 NYB blocks and the quilt starts with this block, but I did not square them up until the rest was done and then laid it out to see how it would look. The next set are the larger flying geese in the big star and there are 8 of those so another night or day, I would make those eight pieces again not squaring up until later and then comes the snowflake block which is the center of the star and that one was the hardest as it seems backwards. It came together fine. To put it this way, I did about a few a night or day or what ever it doesn't seem so tedious theat way. If you get in a situation where you have to do some frog stitching, then just walk away from it for a few days and that usually helps me. I did not take any of the classes, but wish I could one of these days. Her way of foundation piecing is diffrent than my way of doing it. I always hold the fabric and paper to the light to make sure it will cover the area that it is supposed to. She says to slide it under the paper mathing the edge and sew. That did not work well for me at all. You'll be fine, just don't rush and take it one step at a time.
