I recently made a quilt label using Fons & Porters Printed Treasures label kit. It was easy to do, and the label looks great.

In the directions, it indicates that the finished label should be submerged in water for 1-2 minutes to wash away any excess ink.

I did not do that step. Does anyone have experience with these kinds of printed labels? Do you think that the first time that the quilt is washed----that the ink on the label will bleed on to the rest of the quilt since I did not rinse in water right after I printed it?
