I think this quilt is adorable. There is a family "owl" joke with my mom as she was nuts about owls several years ago and they were all over the house. She had a huge oil painting of one with orange eyes that gave all of us the creeps so my dad threw it in the neighbors garage sale. 25 years later she is still upset about it and I thought of making her a quilt to make up for it.
