It certainly can't hurt and because I do, I might try it, especially since I suffer from osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and advanced spinal stenosis (arthritis in my back). Wish all this rain we've been having would go to Texas and the south where they need it, as it makes my pain worse.
