Great question! I'm going to go with something I haven't seen anyone else mention. Last year before Christmas, I found some small (not quite gallon size I don't think) trash cans with flip lids on them at the Dollar Tree. I bought all they had! I gave them as Christmas gifts to everyone in my quilting group, to all my family members who sew, and of course I kept one for myself. It's amazing how many fabric snippets and threads it holds! It sits on my sewing table right by my sewing machine, so I don't have to try to keep things in a little pile and hope they don't get scattered. LOVE IT! :c)
