Have you heard about the 1600 quilt? It is made from jelly rolls.
If you put this title into the line that you ask for it to search. They will forward a video or picture. It is fun and works up fast. You separate the jelly roll pieces into light and darks. Cut off 15 inches from the first piece only! Miter both ends of each piece one to another.Sew all pieces together alternating colors as much as you can. I made 2 piles and just took 1 from each until I had one very long straight piece of jello roll pieces sewed together.

Then I take the beginning piece and place the very end of the piece side by side and sew them together. When you get to the very end, cut it and sew to the end. Then take the end and bring it up to the top piece and sew the seams together again. You do this about 5 times until you have sewn all strips together. You finish with a neat quilt of strips and by mitering the pieces where you join it, it makes a neat design.

One web site is blog.heirloomcreations.net?p=1897
