It's similar to Judy Martin's Newport Beach in her Scraps book http://www.judymartin.com/products.c...rod=11&CatID=1 ... scroll down partway) with a different border treatment. It would be easy enough for you to come up with your own. Say for example, cut a 10.5" square of your focus fabric, cut 2 2.5" squares of background fabric, and from the shadow fabric cut 1 2.5" x 10.5" rectangle and 1 2.5" x 8.5" rectangle. Sew one background square to each shadow rectangle. Sew the short background/shadow strip to the side of the focus fabric. Sew the long background/shadow strip to the pieced block so that the shadow's touch in one corner and that the background squares are diagonal from each other. Then use 3" sashing (cut 3 1/2") to put together. OR play with the measurements to come up with a look that you like.
