I actually like both pics...the 1st one a tad bit more...that being said, I usually have a few projects going at one time...just give myself a dead line to finish each one, and try and stick to it!! Breaks up the boredom, if I have any...and, I also agree with put it away for a bit, do something else, and when you come back to it you will have a fresh perspective...I also have had quilts that I thought were just plain ugly...but others think I am crazy...so, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and I for one needed to lighten up and not be so matchy-matchy and rigid...good luck to you!
