For goodness sake. Stop working on this quilt. Start fresh on another project. Let your sub-conscious work on the color problem with this one. Probably one day you will be looking at fabric in a store and think, "That piece will be a good part of the solution to that quilt problem." If not, then you may just divide the blocks according to color and put them into different projects. Whatever. When you don't like it and you KNOW you have a problem, stop. Sewing on the same thing with the same colors and blocks will NOT give you a different result. If you don't have a customer, a completion time, etc., then don't make yourself miserable. Be kind to yourself. Give yourself permission to let it rest and come back to it later. Move on. Life is to short to beat yourself up over fabric. Go sew something enjoyable.
