If you leave the last digit off G3957244 it is a Singer 28, thats what I must have done, so G395724 is a Singer 28. I realize the manual link looks like a porn site but it really does have almost all Singer manuals, industrial and domestic. If anyone doesn't have the Singer serial number and dating site here it is,
