I went to Ames to the Iowa State-UNI game last Saturday. Was lucky to visit the Quilter Cupboard in Ankeny, Iowa. Lovely older style house with all kinds of fabrics, patterns, each room had a 'speciality'. The selection of batiks was incredible. The offer sewing and embroidery lessons, their featured brand of machine was Babylock. If you are ever in their area, please go visit. Great people, fantastic selection and just a nice quilt shop.
