I decided to make bookmarks. Here are the first two that are finished. I used one layer of poly batting heated between parchment paper, so it is really thin. Two layers seemed too heavy...more like Peltex. I quilted the top and batting, fused the back onto it, and then satin stitched the edge.

I just read about making your own cording for fabric postcards and applying it to the edge. I haven't tried this, but I would like to do this on bookmarks.
