Choc. Chip Pie
Pastry for one pie
2 eggs
1/2 c all-purpose flour ( I use self-rising)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c melted butter or margarine
One 6-oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c chopped nuts
Whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Beat eggs until foamy. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Bend in vanilla and butter. Stir in choc. chips and walnuts. Pour into pie crust. Bake until set, about one hour. May serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream or cool and eat as is.
