I bought a bottle of the Niagara non-aerosol spray starch a while back at Wal-Mart. I just got around to trying it. The one I bought says that it is "fresh linen scent", and there was another one with a lavendar scent. The ads say that the scent dissipates after ironing...

Well, the smell was so strong I had to leave the room, and now I can still smell it on my hands, even though I washed them. I checked the fabric that I sprayed and ironed, and I don't smell it anymore there, so it does appear to dissipate after ironing.

Has anyone found this product in an unscented version? I looked online, but didn't find it there. I checked the web site of the manufacturer, and sent them an email of inquiry (and complaint about the smell). It seems to do a good job on the fabric, but why does the manufacturer think it needs a "fragrance" added? It just doesn't make sense to me.
