I just used my new bottle this morning, and have to agree that the fragrance is quite strong at first but it does go away fairly quickly. The "fresh linen scent" only brought back good memories for me. I remember that smell from when my mom would starch the laundry, especially the bed linens that were then hung out on the line to dry in the sunshine.
Now everybody knows how old I am!!
