Mix together
1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp soda
½ tsp cinnamon
Mix together
1 cup ripe persimmon pulp
1 egg
½ cup milk
4 tbsp melted butter (margarine will work also)
½ cup walnut meats
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
Place in a loaf pan or casserole dish uncovered.
Bake 1 hour at 300º (slow oven)
Serve with cream or rum sauce
