I had a Rowenta with a removable tank and the tank started leaking. The iron was over 3 years old already but Rowenta sent me a new tank for it free. I would contact them to see if they will help.
You know what, I totally will contact them. It's a great iron if I could fix that. Otherwise I'll keep it for fusable stuff.
