That Kitty block is really cute.

I have two denim shirts that my grandmother embroidered for me years ago that I could never part with. I decided to cut the embroidery pieces off the shirts and use a crazy block or crumb method to put them into quilt blocks. I have been thinking about this for a while, waiting until I found the right thing and then I was given a book called Cotton Crazy Quilts just last week by my dear MIL.

The book gives some ideas for the center shapes--pentagons and so forth so I think it will work. Now to get some other stuff out of the way so I can try it.

I really appreciated the tute link because it is so clear. Many thanks!!
