i taught my friend to do some and she caught on quickly. i fold the "pie" piece to find the center and crease it with my finger. then fold the "arc" piece to find center and crease it. then match the centers and pin there, then pin the ends/side corners and pin. then i tend to pin inbetween too and sew. usually sew them with the pie piece on top since it has more fabric to keep out of the way of the needle. i love doing them.
give them a try, you'll love all the designs you can get with that block.
