I know Grandparents' Day is not a well known "special day" but it was this past Sunday. I am curious to know if any grandparents on The Quilting Board were acknowledged on this occasion.
The lack of recognition for me(and my husband) had nothing to do with the fact that this was, sadly ,the anniversary of 9/11. I guess I am feeling a little disappointed, as we babysit the 3 year old twins and their 18 month old sister daily...and ask no compensation. I know the parents were aware of the day, as it has been discussed on the childrens' TV programs for the past 2 weeks.
