I copied the pictures in black and white on regular paper using my scanner. Then I used my tracing box and parchment paper to trace the pictures. The trick is to pick and choose which facial lines to copy. Too many age the baby's face. I then traced the pencil lines onto fabric, again using the light box. My little granddaughter taught me that it is way easier to after dark with only the tracing box light on. I tried using the coloring book ap on my computer, but it didn't give me the look I wanted.
Funny thing, when I did their house I worked from an old pictures. I reworked the windows because I counted the number of panes incorrectly. When I delivered the quilt I realized that they had replaced all of those little panes with a big picture window. It could have been so much easier to do.
