Oh im sorry to hear your baby is sick. Prissy (my avatar) was 22 when we had her put down. She got sick one night about 3 years before she died and had a seizure. It was Memorial day so nothing was open but the emergency clinics. We took her to the clinic and they kept her till about 2 am and we had to go back and get her. They said she had renal disease and that we needed to feed her Science diet for Kidney failure. Well we couldnt afford to buy it and she didn't like it and wouldn't eat it. So we bought her just plain cat food at walmart that was formulated for urinary and kidney problems. She lived for 3 years without another seizure. Then one night she woke me up having a seizure, and she continued to have seizures the rest of the night. I counted them and she had lik 40 seizures in about 12 hours time. We rushed her to the vet and they put her on meds and the seizures eased up but when she had them they were more severe. We believe that she had a stroke at sometime during those because she couldnt walk or stand up. I told my hubby that we had to put her down that she was suffering. So we had her put to sleep and then cremated and her urn sits on our fireplace mantel in our bedroom. I suggest just do what the doctor says and make him comfy and as happy as can be. You will know if and when the time comes that he is suffering. I wish you and Benny the best and please let us know how things go at the vet. Hugssss
