I haven't tried to do anything with the 411G yet - it should be just about the same as the 401G. I also have a Bernina 530 that has electrical issues. I'm wondering if anybody has tried to treadle that one?

Congrats for getting the machine into treadle. Yes, treadling the 401As are a bit of a workout. I think it just has to do with the belt hitting the machine. I noticed if I sit back just a bit from the cabinet, I can treadle a bit easier (hope this makes sense). I too don't like the e-machines speed for the detailed work that I'm doing on the bindings.
