You know, it's so hard when they have ordinary little illnesses, but when being faced with something like this, it has to be so monumental. Have her brothers and sisters seen her? (What are her other siblings, anyway? And how old are they?) As a mother to another mother, I'm so relieved and happy for you to be able to see the progress.
