No recognition for me either but my GK's never remember I exist any of the other 364 days a year. I don't blame them at all they are only children. It's my children that are at fault because they don't bother with their only living parent either. I just live each day as a day no different from any other day of the week. Since their dad died and all his money went to his mistress I've become a liability and no one wants to be stuck with me to care for. The best way to insure you don't get stuck is don't have anything to do with you. So I give my time to children who are in need and appreciate every quilt I make for them. I get back all the love I need from children I don't even know. :D :D :D

Not one of my 20, 16, 8 or 6 yr. old GK's remember's me for any holiday. Just the facts mam... :-D
