no, it is a security issue with the airlines. They will not accept packages over 13oz with stamps on them that aren't taken to the counter so they can ask you questions about it- they then round stamp it so the airlines know it has been screened. The pkg should come back to you but you will not have to pay the postage again. Maybe it will get past inspection- some do. Sorry about the confusion.
