How odd!
Isn't there cast material that allows kids to swim in the summer?.....meaning it can get wet? I just know my friend's son had an arm cast like this. I mean, we can have a man on the moon, create a space station, take out Bin Laden, develop alien-looking aircraft, create something like facebook, but after all these years we can't make a cast material that can get wet ????

I can't get over how anyone would cast a baby this age and not have a ton of instructions for dealing with this problem; they've surely run into it before! Have you googled the subject? I swear, sometimes the computer has more sense than the medical community, it seems.

He's the cutest little punkin who doesn't seem all that put out with his new restrictions! :-)
