Personally, I prefer to hand-quilt all of my quilts. My heart literally gets put into each and every quilt with hours of work on it. Hand-quilting is so personal and it makes me feel like I'm truly making a future heirloom. I feel the same way Homespun - but I also just actually ENJOY the time I spend at the frame hand quilting each stitch. I can truly say every stitch in my quilts is filled w/my love. (I've also worked out many little problems in my life sitting at the frame for hours)
Do you have to stand up to use a LA??? I've never seen a LA in action, but pics of the ones I've seen look like you would have to stand up. If so, even if I didn't prefer to hand quilt or had the space to put one, a physical disability would prevent me from getting one.
