Did you use the quilt in a day method. I have a set of over sized bear paw blocks because I forgot to trim the half square triangles down before using them. They look just like your blocks. Fortunately for me they are just part of a larger quilt with other blocks. I am planning to remake my blocks and use the 4 or so that are over sized on their own in a small square quilt with sashings. In your case i would find a good movie and do some unsewing.
