Sorry for his loss.

A huge area of PA got slammed by flooding last week. Many areas that never flooded before, so most had no insurance. My youngest step daughter got hit. She lives very rural. Many homes, bridges & roads are gone. She had no power for 4 days & has had no phone for 9 days & doesn't expect to get phone for at least 2 more weeks. Cell phones don't work where she lives. She has to travel mountain dirt roads to get in & out to work. Her kids haven't been home since the flood, as it's not safe for them yet. Her furnace & hot water heater will need replaced & her kitchen floor. Her driveway was washed out & her yard looks like a war zone. It's full of tree branches/rocks/boulders/mud. A small stream runs thru her property. All the rocks/boulders/mud came down to her filling up the stream bed to the top & blocking the huge flow pipe creating a waterfall. We pulled out railroad ties & cinder blocks that washed down. It's amazing the power of water & how much damage it can do in minutes. The flood hit last Wednesday & FEMA just got here yesterday.
