Our house is too high for the water to get to, but we had a few friends that were lower so it was helping them move furniture and gut the bottom 3 feet to replace everything that took so long. My husband works on alarm systems and went to go check out a Home Depot the other day and told me that they got 9 feet in there! I don't think they will be opening anytime soon.
Its really sad when you put so much effort into making family something and they just take it for granted. I am lucky and have family that is constantly fussing at me for not having made them anything yet LOL I am so sorry that your sister is like that. Maybe one day she will realize how much time and effort you put into things and appreciate it.
