How do I know what the maximum distance apart I can quilt with the batting I'm using? I bought it off a roll at my LQS, and forgot to ask. It's an 80% cotton - 20% poly very low loft batting. This is my second quilt - my first one was a 9-patch variation, so I quilted on every "row" of each 9P block and it was fine. This one only has one "seam" in each block, so my SID quilting is much farther apart. Help?
