I like to use ric rac on Grandma fan blocks. I also use it alot to decorate crayon fabric rolls, it can make a really nice embelishment. I do know what you mean about reminding you of clown customes my Mom sewned beautiful ones for me & my sibling and all the ruffled cuffs & collors were edged in ric rac. It comes in beautiful colors and different widths now which makes it great to use. Try it again you may like it! LOL
