Yep - I think I'm a happy soul ...
Just not a very determined and dedicated one so we'll have to see if the 'scrappy' nature of quilting helps me out there!
I have spent the last two evenings in quite a dedicated way however, on the almost but not yet completed knitted cushion cover, and the also uncompleted crochet summer shoulder bag.
By doing this I though I would have earned the right to go into the big fabric store and think quilting whilst hubby shopped for car and heating system repair bits in the same retail park.
Er, no ... the fabric shop closed at 4pm an whole hour to two hours before most of the other outlets.
Somebody somewhere is telling me to finish my other projects first!
I'm going to copy and paste that bit about my plans for my quilt into another thread somewhere so that I can seek advice on specific questions and have all my thoughts and responses from experienced quilters in the same place for reference ...
