My customer, Mary, is such a wonderful piecer. Her Basket quilt is another one of my favorite quilts. I used Hobbs Poly batting to give it a nice white effect behind the beautiful white fabric she used for the blocks. Quilted it with piano key border; crosshatching on sashings; pebbles in the background;, continuous curves, flowers, echoing and outlining on the pieced blocks; and a sunflower in the setting triangles.
