The nice thing about this method is that it doesn't affect the original Nook Color OS at all. So it's not like the typical rooting. It is all on the card and you can boot to the Nook or Android from the card-so you don't have to remove it to use the Nook as a Nook. What I love is that I can use this to read my Kindle books without having to convert them like I did before, and so far the reading on this (page turning and bookmarking) works out so much better on the android platform.
