Just a thought.If you like soup....put leftover chicken in slo cooker or big pot on stove....add some veggies.I put mine in slo cooker last eve....along with a couple stalks of celery,an onion,few carrots & lots of seasonings.Filled with water,brought it to boil,then let it simmer overnt.
Will strain & discard the veggies & bay leaves,then when cold,will remove most of the fat,& freeze in portions I use for making soup.The meat will be used for today's dinner.You can get good broth using cooked or raw meat.So handy & such good flavor.
