I bought my first embroidery machine over a yr ago. A Janome 9700, I found out after the fact that I needed a software pkg. to download off the enternet. After almost going nuts I found a store in Richmond In. that sells Brother & Janome. www.nancysfancyssewingcorner.com I didn't even buy my machine from them but they were most helpful. Lov my machine now but would have saved myself alot of stress if I did my homework first before buying. Thanks to Nancy & her staff.
