My SIL & DD are at yet another horse show (he's a trainer). Instead of handing out ribbons to the amateurs, free T-shirts are given out a with the host-clubs logo for the show and then giving out the ribbons as fusible ribbons!! It is a 6-judge Pinto show so many T-shirst will be covered! What a cool idea!!
So many of the amateur riders have trunks full of ribbons and if they show a lot,often return them to the club for their next show - the clubs have learned not to put the year on them!
But to be able to wear a T-shirt with just even one 6th place or a 3rd place is something to be proud of.
Just thinking about how many other events where ribbons are given out that could use this idea!
