Double check your math. And then check it again.
And then check it a third time!!!!!!!!!!!

As suggested graph paper will be your friend ... and don't forget about the seam allowances. And also, if you're doing HSTs that it takes extra yardage if you're making them using squares and then cutting in half.

Think it thru as to everything you'll need, including border and binding.

And then when you go to buy your fabric ... buy extra!!

If not needed, you can add it to your stashes .... or have extra when you change your mind and decide to make it differently or add an extra border, etc!
