Hello ladies - I want to put a "Monogram Block" on the backs of my quilts (call it ego - or just for prosperity).

Below I have uploaded two images. The end result, albiet only a photoshop illustration and secondly the method.

With the "method" I have not used colour and have numbered each of the elements.

Could those of you who are experienced with Paper Piecing please cast you eye on this and let me know if I am on the right track and whether or not this is a workable design and method.

I have seen a Leah Day video and I imagine you begin at one end and finish at the other. Piecing the top and bottom last.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Colours used for illustrative purposes only. The fabric I use will be quite different

I begin with the "L" and then return and do it left to right. Then top and bottom
