My very first Christmas quilt. This was a door panel that I just added borders to. It is approx. 72x92. This will be going on my son's queen bed. I will surprise him with it when we start decorating for Christmas. He knows about it, but he hasnt seen it since I have finished it. This is the biggest quilt I have had on my frame, and it turned out great.

I was debating on whether to quilt this myself or have Charisma or someone in my neighborhood do it. I PM'd quite a few ladies on here: natalieg, BKrenning, greensleeves, QuitlQtrs, nad moedersaar asking them questions about using a 5"pantogram with a machine that only had a 9"throat. They were all very helpful. With the help of these ladies, I decided to give it a try on my own. I was able to quilt about 72" of it with my 5" pantogram. Towards the 72", I had to fudge a little and follow the pattern on the inside of it. The rest of the quilt, I just freehand it. You can't even tell it. I am so glad I did it myself. I didnt have to turn it. I just used a meandering. I also used Warm and Natural for the batting. The colors are more brilliant in person. It was cloudy out when I took this. Also, thank you all the ladies that helped me, that I noted above!

I took my son to Joann's and let him pick the backing. I think he made the perfect choice
