You're probably already done with it, but I just took a class yesterday. Fold the curved part in half so you know where the center is. Pin right sides together to center of middle spire. Go to the end and do 3 stitches. Needle down and raise foot to ease the piece in line. 3 more stitches - no more. Keep going until you're at the end. It works!
