Michael pieced this quilt and I think that is the name of the patten I can change it if it isn't....It's by Straight to the point.
Anyway...when I saw this I didn't see black squares and floating stars in the background...I saw feathered wreaths and stars.....SO I treated them that way. I think it is difficult to see what I did from the front in the pictures..but the back shows it well...I also quilted a falling leaf pattern in the border and stippled around it ...Beautiful quilt! M never disappoints!

I quilted this freehand on my 26 INNOVA. I used warm and natural batting.
