My LQS talked me out of backing my baby quilt in Minkee - she thought it was easier to use as pieced. So I bought 1/8 yd of Minkee in 4 lovelee babee colors and flannel for the backing, plus some cute fats in little babee prints in flannel and cotton for textual contrast.

Now I'm ready to cut it and I fear it greatly, although I do love to go to the quilting room and pet it! I had planned on scrap-ee nine-patches in sashing.

I've looked on this site and UTube but not much enlightenment on piecing.

Any one have experience to share? Thanks much!
