I have one or two 3 piece bear patterns, but don't see them online, so not an option.

For this one - you do a front and back and cut a circle for the face. Attach partially to face, stuff, then complete attachment. Sew the front and back together leaving opening, turn out. Stuff the ears light, then sew in an arc across (to add ear dimension). Then stuff bear, sew opening closed. If intended for a young child, it's easier to embroider the eyes on before you sew up the bear.

Finally, if you just want 2 pattern pieces, try Carol's Zoo. I have a link here, but you probably can find a used pattern cheaper at Ebay. You do not have to use fun fur.

here's a freebee, but I don't know what the size is. Again, you do NOT have to use fur. You can use cotton. You can even use knit fabric, although I would fuse a stabilizer on it first.
