Hi Misty,That is really cute. Every once in awhile I buy some old out of print magazines on ebay, some back to the 70s, & I noticed in one a "door quilt". Had never seen one till then. I am a newbie quilter myself but I guess at one time a door quilt was more popular. They are really fabulous looking & it is on my list (long list) of things I want to make for myself to go over my French door to the outside. I would think in times past it would be very useful to keep down drafts. They of course have a company that makes special lined fitted shades for that purpose now but how much more colorful and interesting to have a door quilt instead huh? Thanks for sharing yours.
