While we're talking about shorthand... my last year teaching I worked with a handicapped child who had a fantastic sense of humour. When someone would ask something like: What do we do now? He'd reply "Suck it up and deal with it." So the teachers at the school started signing their memos to each other SIUADWI. We pronounced it sigh-u-ad-we

I use it a lot since I retired... I tell myself daily as I face the chores that were once shared equally with my still employed husband.... "SIUADWI, Lori!"
